Four Seasons Garden Installation

FOUR SEASONS GARDEN INSTALLATION, TEN TRINITY SQUARE

Collaboration with Nigel Dunnett

In May 2022, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square commissioned the creation of a temporary garden outside their Grade-II* listed building to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen. The resulting Mini Bloom references elements of the Superbloom at the nearby Tower of London. The aim of the project is to highlight the importance of nature within the heart of the city.

A series of Himalayan and river birches as well as multi-stem shrubs of flowering dogwood, black elder and coyote willow have been positioned to create a green veil against the building façade. The planting beneath includes long flowering perennials such as yarrow, Mexican fleabane and vervain as well as many ornamental grasses including switch grass, purple moor grass and maiden grass.
